All the convenience of a sliced and ready to use truffle. The slices of Summer Truffle are kept in extra virgin olive oil, they release all their fragrance when served on hot dishes.
Black countours of the slice (the truffle peridium). The inside of the slice (the truffle gleba) are in a light or dark brown colour, where it is possible to discern thin lighter veinings. The slices are roughly regular. The delicate and appetising taste with scents of extra virgin olive oil are distinctive of the traditional Umbrian recipe.
How to use
The carpaccio of Summer Truffle is ready to enrich your dishes.
We recommend adding it to hot dishes: the heat allows the truffle to release all its aroma and aromatic taste. Excellent on first courses, main courses made with meat and on top of creative pizzas.
Once opened, keep it in the refrigerator and consume within 2-3 days.
Truffle harvested in Umbria and carefully selected. We only employ ripe truffles to exalt its characteristics.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat or direct sunlight until opening.
